My credit card is about to expire. Should I apply for a new one?

回答

We will automatically send a new card to your address, where you receive a paper billing statement each month, around the end of the previous month or the beginning of the month when your credit card expires.
Also, if you have an ETC card, you will receive a new one around the same time.

If you have not yet received your renewal card, please get in touch and we will investigate the status of your card issuance. Please contact the customer call center, and then one of our English speaking representatives will call you back.

【Notes】
※After reviewing your application, we might be unable to issue you the credit card.

※Your credit card number will not change.

※If you have your money left as Rakuten Edy on your previous card, please use the balance before you dispose of it since you cannot transfer your Edy balance to your new card.

※Please note that renewal cards are sent as non-forwardable mail. If you have submitted a forwarding request, the card will not be delivered.
