Card members may be covered by Overseas Travel Accident Insurance as long as they meet one of the following requirements.
Use your Rakuten credit card to pay for travel tours prior to departure with a travel agency (See * below).

 * Must be an agent organized tour and include all details of the tour such as destination, duration, dates, etc.

※Rakuten Black card and Rakuten Premium card automatically includes the Overseas Travel Insurance.
※Coverage period for the insurance is until 12:00p.m. three-months after leaving Japan.
※Service requirements and coverage amount differ depending on your credit card type.
※Please note that since the insurance only covers travel agency package tours and not private tours, please verify with your travel agency prior to departure that your tour is an official package tour of the travel agency.
