I want to register a family card with "Rakuten e-NAVI"

"Rakuten e-NAVI" is available not only to main card members but also to family card members for some services. 
Family card members can use "Rakuten e-NAVI" on PCs, mobile phones, smartphones, tablets, and the Rakuten Card app, just like main card members.

How to start using "Rakuten e-NAVI" for family card members

All procedures must be completed by the family card member.
※Main card members cannot add family cards.
※Family card members cannot use the same user ID as the main card member.

 

If the family card member is using Rakuten e-NAVI for the first time

1.The family card member registers as a Rakuten member (free). (If you are already registered as a Rakuten member, proceed to the next step.)

2.The family card member completes the Rakuten e-NAVI setup process.

If the family card member is already using "Rakuten e-NAVI"

1.The family card member logs in to Rakuten e-NAVI.

2.The family card member adds the card by selecting "Add Card."

3.You will be able to select the added card from the dropdown menu.

※If the family card member wants to add a main card after registering the family card, please refer to the section "If the family card member is already using 'Rakuten e-NAVI'."

If the above methods do not resolve the issue

Depending on your contract details and card usage status, an error code may be displayed on the Rakuten e-NAVI screen.
If you cannot add the card on Rakuten e-NAVI, please contact our contact center (Operating hours: 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM).

1. Press "1" for cardholder.
(After this, If you are calling from a smartphone, please press "2".)

2. Press "7" for inquiries about card issuance status and delivery

3.Press”0” to  connect to an operator

※Representatives are available from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Also available on Saturdays, Sundays, national hollidays)
※If you have a Rakuten Premium Card or Rakuten Gold Card, 
please contact the phone number listed on the back of your card (Operating hours: 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM). 
※Please do not contact the automated voice response line.
 

Examples of services available to family card members on "Rakuten e-NAVI"

  • Viewing usage statements (only for family card member's usage) 
  • Checking available credit
  • Entry to various campaigns, etc.

 

Examples of services not available to family card members on "Rakuten e-NAVI"

  • Changing to revolving payments
  • Registering or canceling automatic revolving services
  • Changing the revolving payment course
  • Consolidating revolving balances
  • Net cashing
  • Viewing usage statements (for main card member's usage)

 

For members with a Rakuten Card with Rakuten Point Card functionality

To accumulate and use points, family card members need to register for Rakuten e-NAVI with their own Rakuten ID.
Even if the family card is reissued, you can continue to accumulate points with the reissued card if you have already registered for Rakuten e-NAVI.

 

Regarding the registration of the family card as the "default card for shopping"

From the day after the Rakuten e-NAVI setup process is completed, Rakuten Group, Inc. will set the card used in Rakuten e-NAVI as the "default card for shopping" in the family card member's Rakuten member information.
※This will be the credit card preferentially selected for shopping on Rakuten Ichiba, etc.

 

However, if a Rakuten Card is already registered in the credit card information or if there are already 5 or more cards registered, it will not be registered.
You can check, change, or delete the "default card for shopping" after logging in under "Payment Methods."
