I canceled a transaction, and I don't know how the deduction/refund would be made.

The cutoff date for the cancelation is the end of each month.
After we receive the data for your reimbursement from the company where you made the purchase, the cancelation amount will be subtracted from your total amount due next month.
If the amount of your reimbursement is larger than the amount due for next month, then the remaining amount will be transferred to your bank account on the 27th of next month.

(Example)
・On August 1st, you make a purchase with your Rakuten card.
・On September 10th, you require the company you shopped at to cancel the transaction.
・On September 27th, the payment for the purchases you made in August is withdrawn from your bank account.
・September 30th is our cutoff date.
・On October 27th, the cancelation amount is subtracted from your total shopping amount due for October.

If you don't have the shopping balance on your Rakuten card, then the cancelation amount will be transferred to your bank account on the 27th of next month. (If 27th falls on either a Saturday, Sunday or national holiday, then the payment will be due on next business day.)
If you have not set up your bank account for automatic withdrawal, we will send a document to confirm your bank account details so that we can send the money to your bank account.

【Notes】
※If Rakuten card receive the cancelation data in the same month as you made a purchase, the transaction will be deleted from your billing statement, and you will not be charged for it.

※In the case the cancelation amount is subtracted from your total amount due
You can confirm the cancelation amount as "調整額"(=adjustment amount) on the following month's billing statement or on the payment page on Rakuten e-NAVI after we receive the cancelation data.
